Sound and Silence is a project of a romanian artist, Bogdan Bufnea, that creates immersive soundscapes with resonant instruments.Bogdan considers himself a storyteller.
Silence, time, space, rhythm, pulsations, timbre and echoes are his companions and the colors on the vast canvas of his artistic expression.As a practitioner of Kashmiri Shaivism (Swami Laskhmanjoo lineage) and Zen Buddhism (Rinzai lineage) since more than 12 years, Bogdan incorporates his gifts from this practices into the sound work to bring the listener to a more profound and meaningful experience.Big gongs, antique singing bowls (collection of around 200 antique bowls), tibetan trumpets, burmese bells, orin temple bells are some of the instruments that will give the audience a different perspective about how the sound travels, affects the environment and the listener's body and mind.
